Go, Give, Pray. These three words express the heart beat of Church of the Resurrection. We believe God calls His people to be involved in reaching the world in all three areas.
Go
Every follower of Jesus Christ is called to be willing to go. Go across the street or across the ocean. The number one priority of the Kingdom of God is the salvation of souls. It is the church’s responsibility to go to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the remotest parts of the earth to share the good news of the gospel.
Give
Although everyone is not called to foreign service in the Kingdom, everyone is called to assist those who do go. If we truly have a heart for the lost, we will be willing to give of our finances to reach them.
Pray
Prayer is the tool available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Prayer opens doors, empowers people, changes circumstances and renews lives. Prayer is a vital part of pursuing the number one priority of the Kingdom of God.
The people at Church of the Resurrection have been putting this theme into practice for the past 25 years. Many of us have gone overseas and many more give and pray. In the days ahead, you will see pictures of our people taking such trips.
