To achieve our goal of reaching people, we have established our Innernet. Innernet is comprised of various small groups providing fellowship and friendship to all ages. They vary from weekly Bible studies to exercise groups.

Nursing Home Ministry

A team from the church holds services every second Sunday at the Sunnyside Nursing Home in East Syracuse at 10:30am. There is also a Bible Study held there on the last Tuesday of each month at 10:30am.

Sunnyside Adult Home is located next to the Sunnyside Nursing Home. There is another Bible Study held there the last Tuesday of each month at 9am.

Hallmark Nursing Center is located in Minoa.. A Bible Study is held monthly at 2:30pm

Care-Givers

Care givers is an as-needed ministry to those in need of rides to the hospital, doctor’s office, child care etc. For more information, please call the church office at 656-7284

Chi Alpha

The New York Assemblies of God outreach to college campuses statewide is known as Chi Alpha. Syracuse University has a group that meets every Friday at 8pm in the Archbold Building during the school year. For more information, please call the church office at 656-7284

Heart Throb Exercise

Heart Throb is an exercise class with Billy Blanks’ Tae-Bo videos. It can be modified for every level of experience. The classes are on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays @ 6:30 pm at the Church Fellowship Hall. Heart throb is open to all men and women. For more information, please call the church office at 656-7284. There is a fee of $1.00 per class and all its proceeds go to helping build new churches

Impact Youth

The junior and senior high young people in this church are of the utmost importance. Committed youth leaders minister to this group every Sunday evening in a high-impact youth program and Thursday evening in a separate youth gathering. Bible studies are also offered on Sunday mornings. Church of the Resurrection is affiliated with 30 other churches in Central New York which provides great opportunities for both spiritual and social interaction. Smart Singles

Smart singles – a group of high-energy singles 30 and up – from various churches and denominations. Activities go on monthly, meeting in different homes and other locations (check out our 6th annual Hayride and Bon Fire in September!). Prayer Meetings

Prayer is what holds us all together. At Church of the Resurrection, it is a vital way of life. Please join us at any one of our prayer meetings.

Sunday at 8:15am & 9:30am

Tuesday at 6:15am at Sacred Melody on James Street

and 10am at the church (babysitting is provided)

1st Tuesday Prayer Meeting at 7:00pm in the main church sanctuary

Thursday at 6:30pm in Chapel 4

Turning Point

Women’s Ministry

Women’s Ministry reaches every age group of women with quarterly gatherings, retreats, breakfasts etc. For more information, please call the church office at 656-7284

Gateway (Young Singles 18 – 30 years old)

Gateway is another singles group for college and career age. They meet every Sunday at 9:30am in Chapel 4. Periodic outings, retreats, Bar-B-Ques, progressive dinners etc. give them time to fellowship with others their own age. For more information, please call the church office at 656-7284

Young Married

Young Hearts

Young Hearts is for those who are 50 years and older. There are various meeting times, trips and entertainments that are planned throughout the year. Please contact the church office for their upcoming events

Missionettes

Missionettes is a discipleship program based on the Titus 2 principle of women mentoring girls. Girls can begin at age three and continue until they graduate from high school. The program is designed to teach and encourage girls to develop their God-given gifts and abilities.

Royal Rangers

Designed for young men ages 5-17 the focus of Royal Rangers is to “Reach, Teach and Keep Boys for Christ.” They are taught four fundamental foundations: Love of God, love of family, love of others and love of nature. Boys are motivated spiritually through Bible study and memorization, devotionals, and Christian role models. They are strengthened mentally by an advanced awards-based weekly program. Further, the boys increase their physical prowess by participation in age-specific activities and recreation. Finally, they are introduced to church, community, and nature-related activities to develop their social skills and awareness.
